The Footscray Learning Precinct will champion excellence in learning and teaching in Melbourne’s inner west at all stages of education. The precinct will build on the richness and diversity of the community and will provide opportunities for learning in a whole new way. It will link education facilities across Footscray, providing world-class learning opportunities for students, from early childhood through to secondary school and beyond. It will link and update existing buildings, many of which will be shared for use by the wider community.
Phase 2 Community Engagement Report: Now available online
During August, we asked for your feedback on the Footscray Learning Precinct. We wanted to make sure your hopes, aspirations and concerns were identified and addressed when designing how the precinct will work day to day.
The resulting community engagement report is now available online. It includes detailed information on what you said and the next steps for the project. To access a copy, visit the Victorian School Building Authority website.
Before the end of the year, the VSBA will clarify how current students will transition to the new precinct, update the community on the governance model, and report progress on developing the shared learning framework.
