School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) at Footscray City Primary School
SWPBS is a broad range of systemic and individualised strategies for achieving important social and learning outcomes in schools while preventing problem behaviour. The key attributes of SWPBS include preventive activities, data-based decision making, and a problem solving orientation. SWPBS has strong alignment with the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships curriculum, and Zones of Regulation. It is also strongly entwined with the Victorian Curriculum expectations, particularly in regards to the Personal and Social Capability.
