Footscray City Primary School are committed to the value of inclusive learning in a multicultural setting. Parents, staff and students form a cooperative and supportive partnership.</p> <h2>Curriculum</h2> <p>With the introduction of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) in 2005, the curriculum at Footscray City Primary School has been reviewed. The VELS curriculum consists of 3 interwoven strands:</p> <ol> <li>Physical, Personal and Social Learning</li> <li>Discipline-based Learning</li> <li>Interdisciplinary Learning</li> </ol> <p>VELS lends itself to meaningful project-based rich tasks.
